AOD-9604 10MG is a research compound studied for fat metabolism, lipolysis, and body-composition pathways.
For research use only.
AOD-9604 (Anti-Obesity Drug-9604) is a synthetic peptide derived from a small portion of human growth hormone (HGH), corresponding to amino acids 176–191 near the C-terminal end of the molecule.
It was developed to reproduce some of HGH’s effects on fat metabolism without producing its growth-promoting effects.
AOD-9604 has been investigated primarily for its potential effects on fat metabolism and body composition.
Preclinical research suggests that it may:
AOD-9604 was originally developed as a potential treatment for obesity.
Although laboratory and animal studies demonstrated promising effects on fat metabolism, human clinical trials have not established AOD-9604 as an effective weight-loss treatment.
For this reason, it should not be presented as a proven fat-loss medication.
AOD-9604 has also attracted interest for potential effects beyond fat metabolism.
In animal osteoarthritis research, intra-articular AOD-9604, particularly when combined with hyaluronic acid, was associated with improved cartilage repair.
These findings raise the possibility that AOD-9604 could have applications in cartilage and joint-repair research, but this remains experimental and has not yet been established as an effective treatment for osteoarthritis in humans.
Unlike full-length human growth hormone, AOD-9604 was specifically designed to separate HGH’s metabolic effects from its growth-promoting activity.
This makes AOD-9604 an interesting investigational compound for research involving:
AOD-9604 remains an investigational peptide and is not FDA-approved for weight loss, osteoarthritis, cartilage regeneration, or other therapeutic uses.
